Sensei Dale Coker
Chief Instructor of Japan Karate Institute

Sensei Dale Coker has been teaching since 1973. He has obtained the level of Nanadan (7th Degree) in Wado Ryu. He has expanded his training with the American Pressure Point Self Defense System, where he has obtained the rank of Yodan (4th Degree). Sensei Dale Coker has studied many other marital arts including Muay Thai, Shotokan, Judo, Brazilian Jujitsu, Shorin Ryu and skilled in many martial art weapons.

Shihan Ronald Woodard
Vice President Japan International Karate Center

Began training under Soke Hirano in 1966. He graduated in the first class of the JIKC instructor academy in 1968. Shihan Woodard obtained the rank in the Shodan in 1968. He also holds a PhD in eastern philosophy. He was promoted to 8th degree in 2003 and Shihan of JIKC. Under Shihan Woodard's direction JIKC has exponential growth, with its affiliates as one of the largest martial arts organizations in the world. He has studied many other martial arts and is renowned for his business expertise throughout the world.
